June will be here soon.
June here we come! And what to do in your garden? Hmmmmm….
This is an ideal time for planting heat-loving vegetables such as tomatoes, peppers, eggplants, cucumbers, squash, beans, corn, and okra. Yum Yum!
Now for a bit of color for your yard. Why not plant warm-season annuals for late summer blooms. Try zinnias, marigolds, cosmos, sunflowers, and nasturtiums. Beautiful!
Many herbs can be planted in late May or early June, including basil, oregano, thyme, and sage. How about some homemade pesto!
If your maintenance schedule is behind, just remember these necessary items. Knock down, cobwebs and check for any pest control issues. Address them sooner, than later.
Deadhead, prune, fertilizer amend and bark. When surveying your yard check for leaf mildew and signs of stress.
Our cool mornings are the best time to work in your yard, not just for you, but for the plants also. On that note, don’t forget our warm days are right around the corner. Check all irrigation for leaks and cracks. Set up watering timers for optimal performance and water conservation.
And remember, we have a full selection of barks, from shredded, chipped, nuggets to colored. And talk about soils, when topping off your plants or amending your plants, we can cover all your needs.
