The basalt rock is an unusual stone that has been formed by mother nature.  With the column like shape, the rock is then core drilled to become a water feature  Cut flat on the bottom for stability; the fountain fitting is place on the side for easy of installation.
Basalt formations can range for 10″ to 40″ wide; the height can be cut to specifications.  Some water features have a “nature” top, and others are cut flat on top.  Every rock is different, and seldom alike.
